Welcome to Dance Lucinda, I’m Lucinda Kennard and I teach both Ballet and Lyrical Jazz at all levels. I also teach other styles of dance including musical theatre, street and jazz. Whether you are at a competent level, an improver, or an absolute beginner, I can help you achieve your goal in the art of dance.

I offer Private Tuition, and Group Classes. The group is a warm and welcoming environment for people of all abilities, and classes are in blocks of 5 lessons, each at £10 per session of you pay in advance (£50 total per block, paid upfront) or £12 to drop in. Ballet improves tone, balance, poise, agility and core strength. If you did ballet when you were younger, or if you are keen to try something new this is an everyone welcome, fun and relaxed adult ballet class.
This is an all abilities welcome, relaxed and fun adult Ballet class. We will be working at the barre and progressing into the centre. Ballet practice includes plies, tendus, ronde de jambe, ports de bras, adage and allegro. As well as free work and enchainments given in class. Our adult lyrical jazz classes combine the techniques of classical ballet with slice of modern Jazz and a twist of contemporary style movement too. Always accompanied by lyrical music to evoke emotion into the choreography. Inspiring and dynamic, Lyrical Jazz comes straight from the heart.

Pilates is an exercise designed to improve phsiycal strength, flexibility and posture, connecting your breath to physical work, focussing especially on your core strength.
